Hi, I’m Gia.

I am glad we crossed paths. Thank you for taking a moment to see if I would be a good fit for you or your family. Therapy is a gift and I want to share that gift with you. I’m here with you, through your journey, to help you navigate your own roadmap, to empower you, to be honest with you, and to help you process your feelings. I promise to be your biggest fan, have grace with you, and challenge you to be the best you can be.

I help my clients to gain self-awareness, to utilize their strengths, to explore their thoughts and feelings, to learn emotional regulation strategies, to empower them to understand who they are, and to advocate for themselves.

With me as your therapist, you are in a safe, non-judgmental setting. I want you to be yourself! This is the only way I can do my best to help you.

  • Graduated from The University of Pennsylvania- MS in School and Mental Health Counseling

  • Trained in Trauma-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness

  • Certified School Counselor (Pre-K-12)

  • Experience as a Mental Health Outpatient Therapist providing clinical counseling to children, adults, and families in individual, family, and group settings

  • Specialize working with children with PTSD and or experiencing Childhood Traumatic Complex Grief

  • Certified Elementary Educator (K-6) with 18 years of classroom teaching experience (experience with Special Education, ELL)

  • Master's degree in Instructional Leadership & Special Education

  • Elementary Education degree from The Pennsylvania State University
